Decorative alpine chalet style box cabinet for a Swiss cowbell.
Was made to order to house an old genuine used working cow bell from the Swiss Alps.
 
This one was made on request with kiln dried old growth British Larch wood, deeply oiled, and also suitable for external use, and was supplied with heavy duty solid wall fixings including stainless steel wall support plates.
A similar design in various woods could also be made for housing a clock or a special ornament or trophy ....
We also completely restored the cowbell ! This included stripping down, bead blasting the bell and buckle, applying primer and 4 top coats of green paint, cleaning reoiling and restitching the heavy belt, reassembly and adding a turned elm knob to act as a bell pull for an external front door bell.
